In collaboration with Keep York Beautiful, we will celebrate annual Global Youth Service Day by hosting a Spring Litter Clean up on Saturday, April 18, 2020. We encourage individuals and families to come out and help clean up the city we all call home. This could be a perfect event for those who are interested in completing community service hours, for graduation requirements, or for those who are just looking to have some fun on a Saturday.
-Volunteers meet at York City Hall Parking Lot at 8:00 am
-Supplies are distributed to volunteers and locations assigned
-Groups will fan out from city hall, cleaning debris and picking up litter
-Registration is not required but requested. Day of arrivals are welcome!

History of Global Youth Service Day
Global Youth Service Day (GYSD) celebrates and mobilizes the millions of young people who improve their communities each day of the year through service. Established in 1988, Global Youth Service Day is the largest service event in the world, and the only day of service dedicated to children and youth.
